Day 25: Osaka, Japan to Home

Last day on my Asian Vacation!! :( SAD!!
...I stayed at Universal Port Hotel in Osaka. It was pretty. Good hotel to be my last...

In Osaka, I went to Dotombori, which is this great market downtown. It has everything, with this wonderful light atmosphere. It's really popular with locals and tourists alike.

I got this really yummy yakitori, which is basically the best chilcken you will ever eat on a stick. It was so good. Made friends with the guys selling it! :)

Any way, I'm going back home tonight with Air Canada... :( I will miss my new favorite places ever! Final photos of Osaka, Japan!

Day 22: Kyoto to Osaka, Tokyo

Kyoto is the old culture capital of Japan. It's jammed packed with traditional dress, traditional food, traditional everything! I'm staying at this traditional Ryokan, which is like old type of Japanese inn. My was called Gyozanen and had it's own hot spring! It was very cool. There were indoor and outdoor hot springs. They had traditional Japanese food, and it was amazing! It was a little pricy, but all the good ones were!

So good! I went to Ryoan-ji, which is a beautiful zen garden. It was so peaceful and amazing. There was quiet and kind of scary after all the crazy that was Tokyo.

I had some really good shrimp tempura. It was so good!

Here are some of my Kyoto pictures.

Day 18: Tokyo to Kyoto, Japan

My! I really loved Tokyo! The single busiest, most crazy, intense city I have ever seen. I love it! The two different subways were kind of hard to understand, but I got used to it, and I mostly walked places, anyway. I went to the ever popular, Imperial Palace. At the peak of it's worth, the Imperial Palace was more expensive than the whole of California.

Also, people a lot of people in Tokyo don't have room for pets in this crazy urban place. So people open shops where there are rooms just full of cats. Cats. That's a job. People get paid to do that. BEST JOB EVER!! Anyway, I went to one because cats are awesome, called Nekobukuro. It was wonderful. It is real. I'm not making this up.

Anyway, I'm off to Kyoto tonight, so here are some of my Tokyo pictures.
